Xin Hepu is an old district of East Canton city and earns its fame for the good resource of education. There are four kindergartens, three primary schools and two middle schools inside the area. However, the old district has poor house planning but a high population which results in the adverse condition of children activities spaces. An urban design strategy can help improve this issue.
