Gandong Cai is a landscape architect and urbanist working at theory and practice. He holds a Master in Landscape Architecture degree from Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) and is working at Sasaki Associates, Boston, where he focuses on landscape analysis, planning and design for both urban and rural areas globally. In parallel, he serves as column host, writer and editor of Guangdong Landscape Architecture journal, in which he interviews scholars and writes essays on the topic of the relationship between planetarization and locality.
